On episode 64 of the show we are joined by Waldemar Herdt, a German politician from the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party and former member of the Bundestag (2017–2021). Herdt was born in Zhetikara District, Kazakh SSR (Soviet Union) and was a leading member of the evangelical Party of Bible-abiding Christians before he entered the AfD in 2013. Herdt was a member of the Bundestag Foreign Affairs Committee, a member of the Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid, and also the main representative of the faction in the subcommittee on crisis and conflict prevention.
